hello all -
sorry I haven’t posted in awhile! I’ve been busy with work and getting ready for school, and not a lot of knitting has been happening, although I am halfway done with the back of my shetland shorty. I entered the ravelympic WIP wrestling with my shorty and my crocheted bathmat, but I fear that I will fail this time around – time is short, and as classes start on Monday (tomorrow!) and they look to be fearfully time consuming, there’s not going to be a whole lot of time to bust out two FOs in the next week.
However, I definitely plan on keeping knitting through the school year; so if I don’t post as often, at least it shouldn’t be a complete hiatus like my freshman year!

Thanks so much for the link to the sock lady, Cookie A. Most sock patterns do absolutely nothing for me, but there are three from her that I would love to try, and that’s just at first glance. And here I’d just sworn off any new knitting projects. Especially socks. I have two pair unfinished, and a third in line, and the yarn picked out for the fourth. I think I own yarn that would work with one of those patterns, so I might be doomed.
