I got my final grades back and I made a 4.0!
They’re making the Hobbit. Like, for REALZ. And PJ is directing it. Holy crap, I am SOOOOOOO excited!!! *bounces up and down*
Christmas is almost here!
And I taught my best friend how to knit and she’s a third of the way through her first scarf. I feel proud.

And that, unfortunately, is pretty much all I’ve gotten done knitting wise in the past 4 months. The fuzzy teal scarf was knit with a Bernat yarn (can’t remember the name) in garter stitch, and the ribbon scarf was knit with some Trendsetter ribbon I found for CHEAP at Tuesday Morning. Score!!! I knit it in a simple yo k2tog pattern. I’ve decided I really like wearing scarves though, so these will be worn much and there will be more scarves to follow.
One cool thing about having a knitting group is that you learn new things from other members. Like how to crochet.

Yay! This is going to be a rock’n scarf. I’m using the Rowan Cashsoft I bought last Christmas.
And can anyone go 4 months without buying yarn, even if she’s not really knitting much? You know the answer, right?

random amazing variegated yarn from Michaels that’s already been an unsuccessful project, some amazing feathery yarn, and some really cool native wool my aunt gave me that she got in New Mexico.

The feathery yarn is exciting. I have no idea what to do with it!

I’m alive. And well. And even knitting some!
I’ve been pretty horrible about updating, obviously, but there hasn’t been too much on the knitting front to talk about. Life’s been pretty busy and crazy lately. However, I’m going into finals week and will soon be done with the semester- and I plan on doing a lot of knitting over the break!
So be prepared for updates soon, and wish me luck on my finals!
