I officially graduated yesterday!
There was a family party!
And flowers!
And gifts!
(my lovely sapphire “class” ring
)
(mini piano teapot! I LOVE this!)
(Bach thimble! too awesome for words. I must express it contrapuntally on the (piano) keyboard instead.
)
So.. huzzah! I’m feeling very happy right now. I did decide on college- going to my local university for the first year. My major is piano performance, and I’ll also be taking some legal classes. I’m very excited!
And I have been knitting also:
This should be finished. but it isn’t. I don’t want to do the funky bind off. =\ I’ve done it before, and it isn’t a problem.. I just don’t feel like doing it! Blah. Someone tell me to get it done this weekend!
I’ve also started working on Salina again. Now that I’m working on it, it’s working up pretty quickly! I want to finish both of my sweaters this summer. Then I think I’m going to concentrate on socks for awhile…
Now, I’m wanting to have a fun project this summer- either some socks out of some kind of AMAZING yarn, or a noni bag. What say ya’ll? And any suggestions for a totally WOW sockyarn?

Congratulations on your graduation! Your family gave you presents that are “you”, and your college plans do sound exciting.
The mitten is looking fabulous. Not being much of a sock knitter, I don’t have yarn suggestions, so I vote for a cute noni bag.

Congratulations! What beautiful gifts and flowers.
I’m not a sock knitter either, though I’ve always wanted to try some Sundara yarn or Sweet Georgia (which I don’t think is being made anymore). I’d definitely go with a Noni bag.
